Blandford United FC hail from Blandford Forum, a small market town 13 miles north-west of Poole, in Dorset. The club was formed in 1882and have a long tradition in football in Dorset, joining the Dorset League as founder members in 1896. The Royals play at Blandford Recreation Ground, which boasts a capacity of 10,000.
Last season The Royals won the Dorset Premier League with 29 wins out of 34, scoring 102 goals in the process. Cobham Sports ran them close but its Blandford who were champions and promoted to Wessex League Division One.
