Sandhurst Town joined the Wessex League for the 2026/27 season from the Combined Counties League. The club was formed in 1910 and have also played in the Chiltonian and Hellenic leagues.
Their best Combined Counties League performances were fifth place finishes in both 2003/04 and 2004/05, and Sandhurst also took the Division One title in 2022/23.
The Fizzers' best season for cup football was undoubtedly 2004/05, when they reached the second qualifying round of the FA Cup, losing 2-0 to Leatherhead. They also made it to the third round of the FA Vase, going out to Wessex side, AFC Newbury.
Their Bottom Meadow ground is to the south of the Berkshire town, inside Sandhurst Memorial Park. The record attendance of 2,449 was set in 2002 when Sandhurst were the first league opponents for the newly-formed AFC Wimbledon. The ground features a 3G pitch and has a 108-seat stand, with hard standing all round.
To get to the ground take the A321 through the village or turn off the A30 at Blackwater station towards Sandhurst and head for the Pyes Acre car park (GU47 9AH whatthreewords lied.enclosing.demanding). The ground is a short walk away. By public transport, turn right out of Sandhurst station or take a 194 bus to the Broadway and walk towards Sandhurst Memorial Park.
