Hedge End Rangers were formed in 1910, as Hedge End FC and spent decades plying their trade in the Southampton League. They were promoted to the Hampshire League in 1991, and then the club had a difficult period, eventually re-emerging after merging with Hedge End Rangers (who can trace their history back to 1974).
Last season, under management duo Ryan Manship and Rory Anderson, saw the culmination of a magnificent three year rise, as they finished second in Hampshire Premier League Senior Division. Promotion was secured as Locks Heath, the champions, do not meet the ground grading requirements. Rangers have avoided this problem with their home at Deer Park School, by ground-sharing with Southern League side Sholing FC.
