Folland Sports Football Club is based in Hamble-le-Rice, near Southampton. It is another Wessex League club with an aviation connection – the team was founded as Folland Aircraft in 1938 by workers of the aviation factory. Thus, they have the nickname of The Planemakers, and a plane in the corner of their ground!
Folland Park is a charming ground, which could do with a little updating in certain areas. However, on the pitch this season Follands has been a team to be reckoned with and they could well be rewarded with a shot at the promotion play-offs.
