Cove FC was founded in 1897 when they joined the Aldershot Senior League. They play in black and yellow, so like many others they are known as The Wasps. Oak Farm in Cove is their home, with a capacity of 2500, and seating for 110. Several leagues have hosted Cove in recent years, and as boundaries change and allocations move, they eventually swapped the Combined Counties league for the Wessex League in 2022.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given their place in football in Hampshire, Cove’s record attendance came against the newly formed Aldershot Town in 1993 when 1798 turned out for their Isthmian League Division 3 game.
