Colden Common FC is a grand old club of Hampshire football, founded in 1898. The Commoners are technically based in Otterbourne, near Winchester, but have been ground-sharing with Winchester City for ground grading reasons. This has enabled them to reach the Wessex League, where previously they were confined to the Hampshire Premier League – winning it four times!
This season has seen great progress, as they have at times topped the table. With a few games to play, they will be hoping to make it into the playoffs and see just how far they could go. Due to the ground sharing arrangement, they have become a favourite destination for ground hoppers looking for some Thursday night football action!
