Whitchurch United is around 13 miles from Basingstoke by car and is easily accessible from the A34. Longmeadow Sports Centre is home to The Jam Boys, which gives a clue as to the local industry of times gone by. The club was formed in 1903 when Whitchurch Rovers and Whitchurch Albion merged.
Whitchurch United first appeared in the Wessex League in 1992/93 and has been ever-present since 1995/96. The ground is well worth a visit for any ground hoppers, and the main stand with its wooden benches and painted signs is very picturesque.
