Brockenhurst FC were founder members of the Wessex League in 1986 and are one of the oldest football clubs in Hampshire, formed in 1898.
The club previously played in the New Forest, Bournemouth and Hampshire leagues before joining the Wessex League. They achieved two sixth place finishes when the league was a single division. Their best position in the Wessex Premier was fifth in 2008-09 but this was followed by relegation two years later.
Brockenhurst bounced back to the top division as Wessex League Division 1 champions in 2012/13 and have remained in the Premier Division ever since. 2025/26 has seen them finish in mid-table, having been involved in a number of high-scoring matches.
Brockenhurst have reached the FA Cup 3rd qualifying round a number of times, most recently in 2015/16 when they lost to National League South Wealdstone.
Known as the Badgers, Brockenhurst are based at the Meadens Skoda Arena in Grigg Lane, in the middle of the village at the heart of the New Forest National Park. The ground has a capacity of around 2,000 with 200 seats in a distinctive elevated stand. There is also a large mural of the animal which gives the club its nickname behind one goal!
The ground saw a record-breaking penalty shootout in 2013 when the Badgers and Andover Town scored 29 consecutive spot kicks in a Hampshire Senior Cup tie before Brockenhurst triumphed 15-14.
To reach the Meadens Skoda Arena use postcode SO42 7RE or the ground is a short walk from Brockenhurst Station.  For more information visit the club website.
